DETAILED TIPS

Get information and spread the knowledge!
Tell family, friends and acquaintances about environmental topics and our project. Spreading knowledge is a first step to active engagement. Read through the texts on our website and watch our movies.

Be a conscious consumer
Factory farming is a direct consequence of our demand and cause of this vicious circle. Without changing our behaviour as consumers nothing will change.

Here are some steps you can take towards a sustainable and environment friendly lifestyle:

Avoid meat and animal products from intensive factory farm. If there is no label on the meat, it is very likely to come from a big factory farm. This applies to meat in the supermarket but also at restaurants and snack bars.

Buy meat, dairy products, eggs and cheese only from organic farms (in Germany marked with e.g. Bioland, Demeter, Naturland): At those farms genetically modified soy is prohibited and the animal feed is mostly regional.

Eat less or no meat. Also avoid fish as most of it comes from the overfished oceans or mass fish farms.

• Enjoy a plant-based and regional diet, if possible fairtrade and organic. A vegan diet, if conscious and well balanced, is as easy nowadays as it has never been before. If you are healthy and regularly get your blood checked on possibly critical vitamin B12 and iron levels in your blood, and add those vitamins through supplements, if necessary, you have nothing to worry about. Important:Seek information at a doctor or a nutritionist.
